How it started

Are ‘Start-ups’ just for the millennials?

As a bunch of friends with limited funds but a wealth of business experience, we started meeting in a dining room.

We were convinced that the well-being of travellers was paramount, so we sought to change the landscape for travel businesses. We entered the world of the savvy digital natives.

David & Goliath? Maybe, we experienced ‘about face’ and false promises from global and multi-national companies; lost time being led down blind alleys by individuals who themselves were on their way out and experienced more than the odd bit of plagiarism. It all added to the surprise and frustration. Becoming FCA registered was our turning point!

Obstacles? Yes, many but we navigated the barriers, became accustomed to the ungracious rejections and finally launched our unique ‘Delay OK’ product.

What is insured

Delayed departure - A benefit after a delay to your outbound and / or return flight at the departure point.
UK Residents (excluding Isle of Man or Channel Islands)

What is not insured

Claim circumstances you were aware of before your policy was issued or journey was booked (whichever is the later).
Claims that are caused as a direct or indirect result of something you are claiming for such as loss of earnings as a result of being delayed in returning.
NON-UK Residents

Cover is available for flights to / from any worldwide country from / to your home country. The flights you have chosen to cover will be shown on your insurance confirmation.

You will not be covered if you travel to a country or region where the Foreign and Commonwealth Office has advised against all travel or all but essential travel. For further details, visit gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice
